Kanye-conomics

Just realized an implication that My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy/Kanye’s G.O.O.D Friday tracks have about the rap economy.

In Monster, Nicki Minaj makes the bold claim that she is paid “50K for a verse.”

However, in Christian Dior Denim Flow, Pusha T brags about getting “6 grand for a minute’s time.”

Pusha T is HAPPY that he makes one-eighth of Nicki Minaj’s supposed rate. There is something wrong with the world if this is actually the case.

(Pusha actually means that he makes 60K, which makes more sense. I guess he doesn’t know what “grand” means).
